Sherrie graduated from CSUB in 1987, and immediately went to work with a small local CPA firm . After three years of working in the tax and audit department , it was time to branch out and start her own company - Kern Tax Service. She loves working with her large group of loyal , small business supporting clients and exclusively works diligently for her clients in the timely preparation of their tax returns . Her business motto is simple . Give your clients the best product , the best service , at the best possible price, and be available year round to answer any client questions . Accuracy, reliability, timeliness and affordability. These are the cornerstones she has built her business on.

Jessica graduated from California State University, Bakersfield in 2021 with her Bachelor’s degree. She was born and raised in Bakersfield . She is mom to a beautiful baby girl - Madilyn Noelle. After graduating high school, she became a full time employee at Kern Tax Service, where she learned all the varied aspects of running a tax office and providing expert customer service to clients. She has been a California Registered Tax Preparer since 2019 and has become specialized in small business tax with a focus on restaurants, real estate agents, and property investors . Jessica is passionate about finding hidden deductions for her clients and tax planning to ensure her clients maximize their refunds. She is five-star rated and strives to make tax season as stress-free as possible for her clients.
